Memory eternal! Archbishop +Job
I was saddened to learn today of the passing of Archbishop +Job of Chicago.
He was the only bishop of the OCA I have had occasion to meet, and that only briefly when my family and I celebrated Pascha at Holy Trinity, Chicago in 2007.
Others will reminisce about his stalwartness as a force for good in the late troubles in the OCA.
I remember him for the joy in his face and voice as he celebrated the Paschal Liturgy.
